Virtual Assistants International is a US based organization with offices in Oakland, California and Manila, Philippines. Having set up and managed operations in Europe and Asia, we have selected the Philippines and Manila as our hub for talented knowledge workers based on the exceptional value this country offer.

The Philippines (per capita) is far and away the most utilized country in the world for outsourcing English speaking knowledge workers. India has about 4 times the number of contact center workers, but has 15 times the population! THERE ARE REASONS…………………..
1. The Filipino accent is less difficult to understand
2. They are able to neutralize their accents more easily
3. English is the 2nd language taught to all students nationally
4. The Philippines was a US possession for many years, the two countries continue a close relationship with a lot of US products and culture finding their way in to Filipino life
5. Dedicated workers; a job with a US company is a big deal to them and they show their appreciation in loyalty and hard work
6. A large educated, young middle class with a lot of motivation and aspirations to succeed
7. A wide variety of skills and backgrounds available
8. A lot of creativity in the population
9. We know this market and have been successful in the past recruiting/hiring/retaining back office workers for a US company
10. Computer savvy population, and good high speed internet infrastructure for supporting virtual employment
11. Large established BPO work force of over 150K
12. Low cost labor factors……..although we have seen these rise substantially over the years they are still relatively low.

Our experience with the Philippines, China, Japan, S. Korea and Western and Central Europe started over 25 years ago. To this date, the Philippines has offered the best value for BPO work force.
